Stephen J. Gatto, Chairman and CEO

Prior Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Myriant Corporation and Chief Executive Officer of BC International Corp., Mr. Gatto has served on numerous presidential, congressional and US DOE/DOA committees and was appointed by the Clinton and Bush administrations, respectively, to the Biomass Research & Development Technical Advisory Committee.

Sadasivan Vidyasagar, MD, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer and Scientific Co-founder

With degrees in medicine and surgery, and a Ph.D. in Transport Physiology, Dr. Vidyasagar is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida. His postdoctoral fellowship was at Yale University and he collaborated with the National Space Biomedical Research Institute, a subsidiary of NASA. He was a Wellcome Research officer at Christian Medical College and Hospital Vellore, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India, where he studied enteric diseases.

Daniel B. Dennison, PhD, Chief Technology Officer and Board Director

Ph.D. in food science and 25 years senior leadership roles at The Coca-Cola Company, including Vice President and Director of Research and Development and Vice President and and Director of Scientific Affairs. Global thought leader in food safety, member of American Association of the Advancement of Science and the Institute of Food Technologies and founding member of the Centers for Disease Control Foundation.

Gerard Hoetmer, Advisor

For over 25 years, Mr. Hoetmer held a variety of positions at Unilever, including Vice President of Supply Chain and Member of the Unilever Foods Executive. He has extensive knowledge and experience of the food industry. Mr. Hoetmer serves as Chairman of the Dutch Foundation “Spieren voor Spieren” whose mission is to provide a better quality of life for children with muscular disorders, including muscular dystrophy.

Luba Greenwood, Advisor

Luba brings pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and digital health industry experience and expertise in building and advising innovative technology companies and providing strategic counsel to global corporations. Luba’s career has spanned leadership roles in venture investing, business development, Mergers & Acquisitions, law, and operations, previously serving as Venture Partner at Colt Ventures, leading BD and Strategy for Pronutria, a Flagship Ventures company, and serving as Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Counsel at Pfizer Inc. Luba has served as Vice President of Global Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at Roche, where she also established and led the East Coast Partnering Hub for the Diagnostics Division.
